Over at Bookninja, they’re having a contest: design (aka misappropriate) an existing book into something entirely different.

You have to remember that George at Bookninja has handicapped me, as I work as a pro book designer… still a fun exercise.
When I worked inhouse, us designers would sometimes (in our spare moments) actually make fake covers for books we were working on. It relieved the tension. Wish I’d kept some of them…
