Heather: believe it or not, the “Mist #..” series was all from the same roll of film. The difference between them is how I chose to depict/render them after developing and scanning (via Photoshop). In some I really played with the contrast in others (like this), I tried to keep it ethereal while still interpretive.
Now THAT is not an inviting mist. I am not convinced there would be anything there to hold me up. Oh, what stories could be written about that mist! Chills!
This photo makes me try to see through the mist but all effort is vain.
