Art in the City

Ingrid is having an art piece presented as part of the Gladstone Hotel’s 3rd Annual “Hard Twist” show. Opening night is November 7th (this Friday). She put a lot of time, energy, and commitment into this work and I hope it is received well. For all of you local visitors to this blog (or out-of-towners who find themselves in Toronto this weekend – hey, you never know), I encourage everyone to make it out.

You should also check out her unique photo blog, Unbought Stuffed Dogs.

Go, Ingrid!

  1. What is this, Ingrid Appreciation Week? 🙂

A further note: if you can’t make it out this weekend, the entire show is on until January 4, 2009, 12-5pm every day. There are 23 artists showing work in the show, including artists Bonnie Whitehall and Amanda McCavour.

  2. Why limit it to this week? I grab a look at Ingrid’s daily offering as soon as I get the message that it’s up.

P.S. Ingrid’s design for the cover of the Canadian version of the new Jim Harrison is exponentially better than the cover of the U.S. edition.
